I grew up in Chester and was a member of Deeside Orienteers until 2016. I ran several Junior Inter-Regionals as a member of the North-West Junior Squad, and represented England at Junior Home Internationals. I went to Sheffield University studying engineering and running for the Sheffield University team, ShUOC. Whilst there, I organised the 2011 Harvester Trophy Relays, with an early use of GPS tracking in the UK. I now live, work and train in Stirling. I run for Forth Valley Orienteers and my overseas club is OK Pan Kristianstad (Sweden).

I have developed a website for analysing orienteering performance based on my and Kris Jones' method for how to orienteer. It is designed to help other people improve their orienteering technique.

Clubs: Forth Valley Orienteers (Scottish OA) and OK Pan Kristianstad (Sweden)
