Peter Taylor-Bray
British Champion (Long Distance) 2023
My home town is Alton and I grew-up with Southern Navigators, joining Cleveland OK whilst studying Geology at Durham University. I'm now living in Warrington and am a member of Manchester & District OC.
As well as orienteering I run on the road and in X-C for Chorlton Runners, and have recently joined Ambleside AC Fell Club with a plan to compete in the British Fell Championship series this year. Getting time in the hills is important to me and now, with the move to Warrington, has become a regularity with trips to Wales, the Peaks, Dales and Lakes.
Peter's favourite post race treat - milkshake!
2021 - World Champs debut, qualified for middle final and came 34th.
I ran JWOC 2012 and 2103, with best results of 17th in Long and 9th in Relay.
I was British Long Champion at M20 in 2013, and winner of JK Sprint and British Middle titles in younger age groups.
I spent the winter of 2015/6 in Australia, running with Melbourne Forest Racers.
