On The Red Line Freddie grew up with the Edinburgh Club Interlopers.

He is known as a fast runner, with Edinburgh Athletics Club and Loughborough Students on his CV, and having spent the two years to the middle of 2023 at Boise State University in America. His 3000m pb is 8:13.

He ran JWOC in 2019 - with a sixth in the relay.

Freddie made his senior debut at the European Championships (Sprint) in October 2023, winning some World Cup points! He ran the knockout and was 12th= in his heat, losing the split tie for the last qualification place. Since then he has moved into the top 10 of the domestic rankings, with his counting scores being five sprint races and the JK Long. He ran in World Cup Round 1 in Olten Switzerland in May 2024 gaining some World Cup points.
