The World Cup Forest Relays were more like the middle races than the long. The terrain varied, with some very runnable and quite good visibilty areas, but also some quite intricate low visibility places. There was a great deal of gaffling (forking): in the first two-thirds of both women's and men's races only every third control was common, so there were no legs that every runner ran.
In the women's race GB were seventh nation, behind Switzerland, Norway, Finland, Czechia, Sweden (Sweden - fifth!) and Denmark. The team was Jo Shepherd, Grace Molloy and Alison Smithard.
In the men's race GB were 10th nation, behind Sweden, Norway, France, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia, Denmark, Czechia and New Zealand. The team was Luke Fisher, Joshua Dudley and Alastair Thomas.
