The elite forest races over the Easter Weekend were won by Megan Mitchell and Euan Tryner. Both races were World Ranking Events. The overall results are the combined times of both races. Megan won both. Euan won the middle and was second in the long behind Jonny Crickmore.
The races are two of the three primary selection races for the British Team for World Cup Round One in Sweden, 18th-22nd June. (The third is the British Champs on 10th May.)

On The Red Line Many congratulations to the winners on their runs. In the overall results Megan (c108 mins) was five minutes ahead of Grace, who in turn was 10 minutes ahead of Cecilie. This is the sort of thing you might expect based on the World Rankings (Megan 9th, Grace 49th are the two highest placed British runners.) By contrast Euan's very impressive win was not in line with World Rankings. Prior to the Middle race here he was the 10th ranked British runner. The middle is now his highest World Ranking score.
